This project Prefa Pourtre is the latest offering from the International artist known as Ezzdean Duane. Ezzdean is an Ivorian of Nigerian origin, who was influenced at an early age by many cultures and his travels throughout Africa helped him create his unique artistic voice.

On Prefa Pourtre Ezzdean talks about the plight of construction workers in Africa. By day, Ezzdean can be seen scaling walls and using different materials to help with the development of buildings in the Ivory Coast. With this project Ezzdean speaks on the hard conditions faced by scrap metal workers and the low wages they receive for their efforts. Prefa Pourtre is a call to action, and a call to unity amongst scrap workers throughout Africa. This call to action will bring attention to their struggle and provide a voice for the voiceless.

Ezzdean uses his clever word play on songs like "Au Chantier" (The Site). He talks extensively about the work conditions and the struggles of scrap workers. Songs like "When times Hits Hard" He talks about how wages are not enough to support a decent lifestyle. "Colombes De La Revolution" (Doves of the Revolution) celebrates the black woman and 260 Mon Nom C'est (My name is) Ezzdean rides the track like no other. Majority of the production was handled by Chicago veteran Coolout Chris and Ivory Coast producer Venom Monsta. Sonically Prefa Pourtre displays a heavy influence in boom bap, trap, hip-hop, and Afro beat. This offering is truly a reintroduction to the artist known as Ezzdean Duane, and Prefa Pourtre is a definite gem of a project during these trying times.
